Leadership Insights is a developmental leadership framework that has been developed by Insight over a number of years and through a number of rigorous processes including:

- Twelve years of designing and delivering courses, qualifications and coaching programs focused on leadership performance
- The trialing and refining of Leadership Insights across a range of industries throughout Australia and New Zealand
The Purpose of the Leadership Insights
The Leadership Insights Framework provides organisations and individuals with a detailed view of organisational leadership, from a world’s best practice perspective.
It is a futures oriented resource that can also be used to:
- Build an organisational wide leadership culture
- Coordinate leadership development opportunities across an organisation
- Pin point where individuals are currently at, so that personal development can occur
- Understand the bench strength of an organisation
- Support individuals in career planning – and organisations in succession planning
The Framework is highly versatile for individuals and is particularly useful in guiding leadership development for:
- Those who are aspiring to leadership positions
- Those transitioning to the next level, or to a new role
- Those who want to be more effective at their current level

Leadership Insights Explained
Leadership Insights should not be seen as a checklist of leadership competencies that can be ‘ticked off’ – rather they should be viewed as a narrative of skills, personal characteristics, traits, motives, values, knowledge and attitudes that will continuously evolve over time within an ever developing cycle of maturity.
Whilst leaders are not going to master the comprehensive nature of our frameworks, nor might they be relevant to all leadership and management positions, we believe all leaders should have (at the very least) an awareness of what it means to be an outstanding leader in any context – and also be acutely aware of their own areas of developmental needs.
Leadership Insights can be used in a variety of ways and can be customised for any use.
